I know that I look super angry in these pictures. Every time I started my timer a car or bike would come by. I've kind of given up on finding a nice isolated spot for posing. It seems that there will always be something going on wherever I pose. I'm in the process of attempting to pack for my trip back to the states. I'm trying my best to pack "light". Try not to laugh your ass off. Whenever I travel I always pack a bunch of outfits and wind up only wearing 1 out of the 10 I bought with me. I also try not to dress too fine in NY. People will think that you're something that you're really not. Case in point when I go to flea markets. I will not wear any of my usual garb. Wear something nice and they'll charge you double the price. This a vintage Leslie Faye dress and I love it. She did a collection where each piece had some sort of Asian theme. Such as ladies in kimonos, cherry blossoms, or Japanese waves. Needless to say I do a cartwheel every time I find one of these pieces.

P.S. I really do wish that I could meet you lovely people! However, I'll be in NY and most of you folks live very from away from my neck of the woods. I do have faith that we'll all meet someday soon. What do you pack when you go on vacation?

I'd look grumpy too if passersby were interfering. The colors in these photos are incredible. What is the flower on the wall behind you?

Hi Iman, Before I pack I try and check the weather reports for the area of the country I'm going to. Then try and pack accordingly. If possible I try to take items that I can interchange with each other. Walking shoes for a sight seeing holiday(eg New York)are a must as I found out to my cost last year! Also, I always pack a cotton sarong,good as a scarf,cover up or to sleep on if the bedding is not to your liking! Alison.
Wow! Gorgeous colors in your dress and I love all of your bright shoes! All of them! I pack based on what I'll do when I get to my destination, which is why I like to have loose plans of what I'll do when I get there. If I'm going to a different country I'll check the weather too to make sure I'm weather appropriate. Depending on the country I will bring clothes that won't make me stand out as a tourist. I think my trip to Germany was a success since people would start having one-sided conversations with me in German.
